Ongoing in-centre initiatives

**Important update from the NSW Government as at Wednesday 27 January, 2021:

As directed by the NSW Government, from 12:01am Friday 29 January, face masks will be recommended but no longer compulsory when visiting Top Ryde City. Face masks are also no longer compulsory for front-of-house hospitality staff, hairdressers and beauticians from 12:01am Friday 12 February.

Further to the above government directives, from 12:01am Friday 12 February all venues, except gyms, will be subject to the 2 square metre rule versus the 4 square metre rule.

Additional health & safety measures you can continue to expect from us:

Top Ryde City continues to incorporate a number of heightened initiatives to keep our customers, centre staff and the community safe. You can expect the below ongoing measures from us to safeguard your shopping experience:

  • Hand sanitisers throughout the centre and at key entry and exit points
  • Increased cleaning and sanitisation of high touchpoints throughout the centre
  • Active promotion of personal hygiene and safety measures in-centre and online
  • Touchless boomgate ticket systems at all carpark entries were installed to further reduce touchpoints required throughout your visit
  • Encouraging social distancing through signage, queuing systems and ground markers
  • Working with individual retailers to ensure 4 square metres of space per customer and mandatory QR code check-in processes.
  • Maximum capacity limits where applicable
  • Registered COVID-safe plan that is continually reviewed and updated
  • Social distancing officers throughout key areas of the centre during peak periods to ensure social distancing is adhered to

Top Ryde City have also implemented several supplementary measures as part of our COVID Safe Plan to support the food court and play areas including:

  • Additional hand sanitising stations throughout the food court area
  • Increased cleaning personnel and sanitisation of high touchpoints throughout the food court
  • Provision of surface sanitisation wipes throughout the food court for customer use
  • Reduction of furniture and seating to comply with the 4-square-metre rule
  • Additional security for crowd management and to ensure the 4 square metre rule is adhered to
  • Registered COVID-safe plan that is continually reviewed and updated
